Agreement

By purchasing or using any snippet from Collective Theme (“we”, “us”, “our”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use our products. “You” refers to the individual or business making the purchase.

What you're buying

Each snippet purchase grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the code on your Shopify store(s). You are paying a one-time fee for that licence — there are no recurring charges.

The code is delivered digitally. Once you have received it, the purchase is considered fulfilled.

What you can do

• Install and use the snippet on any Shopify store you own or manage.
• Modify the code to suit your theme or requirements.
• Use the snippet on client stores if you are a developer or agency managing that store.

What you cannot do

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the snippet code to others as a standalone product.
• Publish the snippet code publicly (e.g. on GitHub, forums, or marketplaces) in a way that allows others to use it without purchasing.
• Claim authorship of the original snippet.

Refund policy

Because our products are delivered digitally, all sales are generally final once the code has been accessed or downloaded.

However, we offer a 14-day refund if:

• The snippet does not function as described and we are unable to resolve the issue.
• You have not yet accessed or downloaded the code.

To request a refund, contact us within 14 days of purchase via the contact page. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis.

Intellectual property

All snippets, guides, and content on this site are the intellectual property of Collective Theme and Kelvin Leng. These terms grant you a licence to use the code — ownership of the underlying work remains with us.

No guarantees on results

Snippets are built from real-world experience and tested in production. However, every Shopify store is different — theme structure, traffic, product type, and audience all affect how a feature performs. We cannot guarantee specific conversion uplifts or revenue outcomes.

The install guides are written to be clear and accurate. If you follow them and something doesn’t work, contact us and we will help resolve it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Collective Theme is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our snippets, including but not limited to: store downtime, lost revenue, or data loss.

Our total liability to you in connection with any purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific snippet.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the site or products after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
